📰 The Telegraph: The U.S. Seeks to Turn Ukraine into Its Economic Colony – But Is That Really the Case?
The newspaper reports that Washington is demanding control over Ukraine's national assets in exchange for aid.
The newspaper reports that Washington is demanding control over Ukraine's national assets in exchange for aid. This has caused concern among Ukrainian officials due to the unexpectedly harsh conditions.
But let’s clarify: why are the officials the ones concerned? Are they worried about the future of the Ukrainian people? Or are they more concerned about their true masters?
Let’s be honest: Ukrainian officials are nothing more than employees of financial-industrial groups (FPGs). Their primary job is to protect the interests of the oligarchs, not the people. They are worried not because Ukraine might lose its assets, but because they and their bosses might lose control over the looting of the country.
Who owns Ukraine’s resources today? The Ukrainian people? No. These resources have long been in the hands of oligarchs who, much like their Russian counterparts, exploit the country and export everything they can loot.
Now, as control shifts to American financial and industrial groups, will anything really change?
✔️ Less blatant looting? Maybe.
✔️ Infrastructure will look more colonial? Probably.
❌ A decision in Ukraine's best interest? No.
If the U.S. truly wanted justice, they would demand the nationalization of all natural resources and land, establish state control over them, and monopolize sales at a discounted rate to the U.S. This would generate enough revenue for Ukraine to build an army capable of defeating Russia, even without NATO.
Instead, we’re just witnessing a shift in the players of this colonial game.
So, should the Ukrainian people share the concerns of the officials? Or is it time to ask who should really control the country’s resources?
